Happy New Year everyone! I'm not one for New Year's Resolutions, but perhaps, just perhaps, this will be the year that I give it a try.

As I scroll through the Foley diaries I keep finding the name "Tom Foley". Yes, Tom Foley was a Congressman. Indeed, he served Washington State's 5th District in that capacity for 30 years. He was also Majority Whip and Speaker of the House, but he never ever used his office to sexually prey on underage boys. Mark Foley was never Majority Whip nor was he Speaker of the House, but it appears that he DID use his office to sexually prey on underage boys.

Sometimes it's easier to keep these things straight if you've got a picture. So, here are pictures. Tom Foley - good. Mark Foley - bad.
